ABOUT KARA

What makes me the right fit?

I think like the customer first, and a marketer second.

If working for 10+ years in fashion retail taught me anything, it’s that your customers don’t want to be thought of or referred to as data, as a mere number in a following, or as order number ‘X’.

They want to be nurtured, to feel important, listened to and appreciated.

When I work with a business I work hard to understand their customers; what they want to see; how they want it to be presented; how they might engage with it, and what action they might take as a result of seeing it.

I also work hard to emulate your brand values as a business owner, to correctly echo, or help you to form the right tone of voice to attract your ideal customers.

Three things you should know before we work together…

Before we go any further, there are a few things you need to know:

01.

I DON’T USE FOLLOWERS AS A KPI

Growth is important, yes, but I don’t use follower count as a primary objective.

02.

I DON’T CUT CORNERS.

There is little space for hacks and quick wins when it comes to social media marketing. I, therefore, follow a considered path and will test a few route options to get to the right destination.

03.

I CRINGE AT THE WORD DATABASE

Asking your customers to join your ‘database’ is a surefire way to make them feel like just another number and could potentially tarnish the relationship. Let me help you build trusted and loyal clients.
